Chimaltenango: Man Sentenced to 8 Years for Sexual Assault
The Public Ministry, through the Women’s Prosecutor’s Agency in Chimaltenango, succeeded in obtaining a sentence of 8 years and 4 months in prison from the Criminal Court for Femicide and other forms of Violence against Women in that department against Gonzalo Tzaj Ovalle for the crime of sexual assault with aggravation of penalty.
The crime was committed on May 1, 2022, while he was in the warehouse of a property located in the Cojol Juyú hamlet, municipality of San Juan Comalapa, to the detriment of a minor.
