Legal Forces Merge: Attorney General (MP) and Comptroller General (CGC) Enhance Interagency Coordination
The Attorney General of the Republic and Chief of the Public Ministry, Mrs. María Consuelo Porras Argueta, held a meeting with the Comptroller General of Accounts (CGC), Frank Helmut Bode Fuentes, and his team.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the significant results of the interagency actions carried out and to propose the development of projects aimed at continuing to implement anti-corruption actions within their respective competencies.
The project proposal highlights interagency training for the fiscal, technical, and administrative areas of the Public Ministry, as well as the implementation of the Interinstitutional Coordination Office (OCI), composed of the Superintendency of Tax Administration, Public Ministry, Comptroller General of Accounts, and Association of Municipalities.
With this office, the aim is to provide advice and training, within their respective competencies and capacities, so that other actions and entities that are part of the Cooperation Agreement for Good Governance can subsequently be incorporated and contribute to interinstitutional support.
Among the actions carried out, excellent results of interinstitutional cooperation were evident through the Cooperation Agreement for Good Governance, within which projects such as conferences, discussions, training programs, and technical working groups were conducted.
