With the objective of enhancing inter-institutional coordination mechanisms for attending to women victims of violence, highlighting the achievements made in 2024, and assessing needs, Ms. Lucrecia Vásquez, Secretary of the Women’s Secretariat, along with Ms. Bonnie Ávila, Section Prosecutor for Women, and Ms. Rossana Castro, coordinator of the Model, participated in the Inter-Institutional Technical Roundtable meeting for the Model for Attention to Women Victims of Violence IXKEM -MAIMI-.

The meeting was led by the Executive Secretariat of the Coordinating Body for the Modernization of the Justice Sector, headed by Executive Secretary Ms. Clara López.

Additionally, representatives from the following entities participated: Judicial Branch, Executive Branch, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Education, Ministry of the Interior and National Civil Police, Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance, Ministry of Social Welfare, Ministry of Culture and Sports, Solicitor-General of the Nation, National Institute of Forensic Sciences, Institute of Public Criminal Defense, Institute for Victim Assistance and Attention, Women’s Defense Office, Guatemalan Institute of Migration, and the Municipality of Guatemala.
