Attorney General Porras Argueta Meets with Board of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala (CIG)
The Attorney General of the Republic and Chief of the Public Ministry (PM), Mrs. María Consuelo Porras Argueta, held a working meeting with members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala (CIG), with the main objective of strengthening cooperation, promoting joint efforts, and reaffirming mutual support and commitment.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Porras Argueta, the Public Ministry has strengthened its institutional capabilities, ensuring access to justice for all citizens and reinforcing its fight against organized crime, corruption, and economic crimes affecting the country.
The PM has also implemented new comprehensive care models to offer faster and more efficient responses, while partnering with various institutions—such as the CIG—to more effectively combat complex criminal activity.
