MAIMI presents its fifth annual report
In the framework of the fifth anniversary of the operation of the Ixkem Comprehensive Care Model for Women Victims of Violence (MAIMI), yesterday the public act of presentation and delivery of the annual results report was carried out.
The document compiles the actions executed by the institutions that make up MAIMI, corresponding to the period from March 9, 2025 to March 8, 2026.
The activity was coordinated by the Secretariat for Women of the Public Ministry, with financial support from the Executive Secretariat of the Coordinating Instance for the Modernization of the Justice Sector, and included the participation of representatives of the entities involved.
According to the report presented, during the evaluated period, 13,336 women victims of violence were attended to. Likewise, 8,687 complaints were received, of which 5,362 were filed directly within MAIMI, which shows the scope and trust of the population in this specialized care mechanism.
The actions developed in MAIMI constitute a comprehensive response to the needs of women victims of violence, facilitating access to care and justice services.
This inter-institutional effort strengthens the State’s response to gender-based violence and promotes the dignified reparation of victims, in compliance with their right to a life free of violence.
