The IDB recognizes the PM’s major strides in the Institutional Strengthening Program (ISP)
During a follow-up meeting held at the offices of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Public Ministry presented significant progress in the execution of the program “Strengthening and Modernization of the Public Ministry.”
In this meeting, authorities from the Ministry of Public Finance, representatives of the IDB, and officials from the Public Ministry participated, evaluating the performance of the program during fiscal year 2025. The parties agreed to highlight the efficient execution of activities and the successful fulfillment of the physical and financial goals established for the PM.
According to what was presented, the Public Ministry reached a high level of execution in key areas such as infrastructure, training, and process improvement, which allowed for the optimization of the resources assigned. This performance positions the institution as one of the main implementers of programs within the IDB portfolio for 2025.
The IDB expressed satisfaction with the execution of the activities, highlighting the Public Ministry as one of the main implementers in its project portfolio, which emphasizes efficiency in the management and use of the resources provided.
Among the most relevant advances, progress in the construction of Tower III of the Public Ministry was highlighted, a project that shows a highly satisfactory level of execution during the current year.
The authorities attributed these results to the institutional commitment and the leadership of the Attorney General of the Republic and Chief of the Public Ministry, Ms. María Consuelo Porras Argueta, who has led the process with a strategic and proactive approach oriented toward the strengthening and modernization of the institution.
