The Public Ministry coordinates arrest of a man who was part of an international chat room sharing child pornography
The Public Ministry´s Western Region Agency of the Human Trafficking Prosecution Office, in coordination with the Regional Prosecutor and support of the National Civil Police (PNC), conducted a search, inspection, and seizure of evidence in a property located in Genova Costa Cuca, Quetzaltenango.

This was carried out by following the investigation of a complaint made by the Interpol delegation in Rome, Italy, which indicated that a Guatemalan telephone number had been detected as part of a chat room, in which child pornography was being distributed.
As a result, Doblin Antulio González de León was arrested in flagrante delicto, seizing his cell phone, which contained child pornographic material.
According to the investigations conducted by this specialized agency, it was established that he was the individual, who was part of the international group that shared child sexual abuse material.
The initial investigation of the case originated in Rome, Italy, where undercover agents established the existence of this group, identifying this Guatemalan citizen among its members.
